Reports: Roma could be without four key players including Dzeko for crucial game vs. Milan

Roma will potentially be without four key players for Sunday’s crucial encounter against AC Milan at San Siro, according to reports.

According to what is being reported by Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Edin Dzeko will not be on the field on Sunday against Milan. The Bosnian striker was injured yesterday against Braga in the Europa League and underwent some tests today which showed a first degree injury to the left adductor, meaning he will be out for at least two weeks.

Meanwhile, today’s edition of Il Messaggero (via VoceGiallorossi) confirms that ‘the emergency for Paulo Fonseca will continue against Milan’, as centre-back duo Chris Smalling and Ibanez will both miss the game. There are also doubts about Marash Kumbulla, as the young defender is further ahead than the aforementioned team-mates, but he too is unlikely to feature as things stand.
