AC Milan are closing in on the signing of Roma defender Alessandro Florenzi after the player made a sacrifice, according to reports.
As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the 30-year-old full-back wants to join Milan so much that he has decided to give up a month’s salary in order to embrace the Rossoneri’s project. This gesture shows his desire to join Milan as soon as possible and perhaps even be available for Monday’s Serie A opener against Sampdoria.
Meanwhile, a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms that Florenzi has his bags ready for Milan after yesterday’s acceleration in the dialogue with Roma. The two clubs are very close to a total agreement, and the player’s willingness to give up €400k is a decision that certainly helped.
MilanNews add that the 30-year-old should move to Milan with the formula of a paid loan set at €1m plus a €4.5m option to buy.
