Reports: West Ham make new contacts for AC Milan midfielder as Wolves drop out

By Isak Möller -

As the January window is just around the corner, AC Milan have shifted focus to the possible departures, having completed the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Franck Kessie is one of the players who could leave, following a slow start.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), the Ivorian was heavily courted by Wolves and Monaco in the summer, but none of the two clubs are expected try for the player again in January.

In spite of this, Kessie still has a few admirers in Premier League. As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), West Ham recently made new contacts with the Rossoneri to probe the ground for a potential transfer.

Milan, as the report continues, don’t consider the midfielder unsellable. In other words, they will listen to offers in January. Should a good offer arrive for the former Atalanta man, then they will most likely accept it.
