Maurizio Sarri is once again being linked with the AC Milan job, first mentioned years back, but this time it could be perfect timing for both parties.
Ever since his time at Empoli, Sarri has been linked with Milan on and off, even if the rumours haven’t always been super concrete. As we were among the first to report in the middle of the 2023-24 season, he was an option to replace Stefano Pioli following talks with his agent.

Now, with Milan looking to part ways with Sergio Conceicao, Sarri has name has been brought up again but the links are seemingly more concrete than ever. Having tested the foreign route through Paulo Fonseca and Conceicao, the management is now keen on a proven Italian coach.
This was reported by Gazzetta dello Sport earlier today, explaining how out of all of the Italian targets, Sarri is the easiest one to get and maybe even the best, with the exception of Antonio Conte. At the age of 66, the manager is also keen on relaunching his career at the very top, which would make Milan a perfect destination.
Indeed, as added by Calciomercato.com, Milan are in a similar position as they need to revive their project, going back to the basics to lay a foundation. Few managers are as good as Sarri when it comes to putting a structure in place, and maintaining it over a long period of time.
Furthermore, his ability to work with young players shouldn’t be underestimated as the Rossoneri’s technical director, Geoffrey Moncada, is very passionate about the youth project.

Didn’t seem to work at lazio with a good squad
Pioli didn’t work well anywhere before he came to Milan.
yeah what logic that means Sarri will win the treble easily
He achieved Lazio’s highest positioning in the league since they won the title in 1999-2000 despite having a budget the fraction of clubs like Milan, Juventus, Inter and even Napoli, but yeah totally didn’t work out. LOL.
Let´s go.
He is Italian, plays some nice attacking football, have a proven track-record from Napoli, Chealsea, Juve and Lazio, and he wan’t to prove himselfes.
What speaks against him?
tf does Italian has to do with anything?
He did jack sh*t at Lazio and his style takes months to learn, do people think before typing?
Why so rude?
Italian has everything to do with the manager job in the Italian club Associazione Calcio Milan, playing in the Italian league. Everything. Especially when there are basically no Italians left in the team.
He took Lazio to their best league position since their league title a quarter of a century ago. But besides that…..
Lazio finished 7th last season
Lazio finishing 2nd on 74 points, literally lowest ever done is not some sort of magic, why are you intentionally manipulating stats? He also did very bad in all European competitions so you want Milan to just be crash out of cups early?
If you look at all Sarri teams they take months to fit the system, why are you ignoring that?
Good coach to build and create identity.
Not so good to win titles when it matters, and create winner mentality
Nothing wrong with Sarri’s philosophy and style of play. After 3 seasons being in the wilderness I’d much rather give Sarri a stab with his clear ideas and footballing style.
Sarri never used a back 3 formation before. If he is appointed I think everything Conceição has achieved with a back 3 will be undone. SMH
Which formation sarri used in Chelsea?
We don’t give a hoot toward Conceicao work, couldn’t even to get over Dinamo Zagreb and Feyenord, screw him
I think If we win this cup there should allow him keep his job and have a total preseason with the boys and continue with his style of play and let’s see how it goes
No Sorry ,I need Ancelotti that set.
this guy said he didnt know who pulisic was and doesnt rate him. pulisic to liverpool
Sarri can(hopefully) turns Leo into a beast, like how how he changed Mertens.
Plus
Sarri has a philosophy and a system to follow unlike others.
If ancelotti available, why we get Sarri ? Hahaha..
If Milan change again the coach, I think the American has no long term plan. Every 6 month have new project. Hahahaha
Moncada keeping up on being part of the managers, after all his fatal mistakes IRREVELANT
