Louis Vuitton owner Bernard Arnault is awaiting a response from Elliott Management after making an offer to buy AC Milan, a report claims.
Lawyer Antonello Martinez recently stated that he has a copy of a document which proves Arnault wants to buy Milan, with the business tycoon having requested due diligence (background checks).
Meanwhile, il Sole 24 Ore reported on Monday the team’s performances on the field could mean that Elliott lower their claims and get rid of an “asset” that is becoming a burden, adding that Arnault is indeed interested in purchasing the club.
According to a report on MilanLive.it – who cite La Repubblica – Elliott Management have a long-term plan for the Rossoneri, but a sale should not be ruled out if a good offer is presented.
And a good offer may have already arrived, as the paper claims that Arnault has tabled a €975m bid to buy Milan, which is a serious proposal given the club’s recent struggles on and off the pitch financially.
