Ibrahimovic cardinale

Repubblica: Cardinale expected to convince Ibrahimovic of Milan return

AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale believes that he will be successful in his efforts to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic back to AC Milan in a new role, a report claims.

According to La Repubblica (via Milan News), Cardinale is still working to convince Ibrahimovic that there is a worthwhile role at the club and he thinks that, whilst it is taking longer than perhaps expected, it will be a successful mission.

Any boost is welcome at Milan right now after a tough run of form. Defeats to Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have preceded tonight’s tough away game against Napoli in Serie A. A defeat here could leave Milan trailing a few points behind Juventus and Inter, and just a single point ahead of Napoli.

All would be far from lost in the title race, but there would be plenty of work to do. Away from the pitch though, work continues to get Ibrahimovic through the door in a new role.

  1. Shame on those people who want Pioli sacked.. the only one useless are you.. idiots. Who lead you to first title in how many years, and with that team you played semifinals of CL? Who was coach then? Idiots. Scouting team is bad. How many italian players would die forilan shirt just like tonali, but they are bringing in guys from Uruguay or something who play 4 games in four years.. thats the problem
