Antonio Conte is the primary candidate to replace Sergio Conceicao at AC Milan for next season, according to a report. However, since his future with Napoli is uncertain, the Rossoneri also have some alternatives.
Milan secured a second consecutive win for the first time in one month yesterday, beating Como 2-1, and Conceicao thus got a bit of breathing room. However, he remains destined to leave the Rossoneri at the end of the season.
According to today’s edition of La Repubblica, via Il Garante, Milan currently have Conte as the primary candidate for the job. The main question, of course, is whether he will be able to free himself from Napoli in the summer (he has a contract with the Partenopei until 2027).
The alternatives to Conte, as the newspaper continues, are Roberto Mancini and Max Allegri. The latter has been heavily linked with Milan in recent weeks but as we highlighted in one of our features, he has some leverage over the media.
In the meantime, Conceicao will be looking to at least get Milan a Europa League spot before packing his bags. Champions League still isn’t impossible, currently five points behind, but Juventus and Lazio both have a game in hand to play tonight.
Where did they find Mancini? He hasn’t been a manager of a serious club for 7 years. I think Conceicao might stay in the end, I’d say more chance than Mancini being appointed.
How milan management now, i think they will do anything, even though all is going to be dissapointment. Just hope redbird is aware he is wrong from the start and go away now.

I prefer Mancini than Alegri, also he has a better playing style than both of them.

If he gets Milan into the Champions League then Conceicao is 100 procent staying. Would be one of the most impressive achievements by any coach after such a horrible season

Honestly lets keep Sergio Conceicao!! I think for the first time in years. The players actually have passion and in some spells they play really well. We just need to figure out the midfield creativity. And we as fans need to get behind the team. Theres also so many round pegs in Square holes. I think Musah needs a loan move, he’s super athletic but not very skilled. We need grit and passion ! all the coaches we are linked with are journey men.
