Repubblica: Milan join Atalanta in hunt for €30m Italy international – enquiry made

Giacomo Raspadori could leave Napoli as early as the January transfer window and AC Milan are one of the clubs to enquire, a report claims.

Despite signing Alvaro Morata and Tammy Abraham in the summer, while also extending the contract of Luka Jovic, Milan have found themselves in the position of planning for the future when it comes to the attack and potentially looking at other names.

This is partly because Abraham is only on a dry loan meaning a negotiation with Roma would need to be reopened to make it permanent and so far he has not provided much persuasion to do that, while Jovic seems to have been frozen out with his deal expiring next June.

According to what is being reported by La Repubblica, Raspadori could be an opportunity. The title of their article reads: ‘Giacomo Raspadori continues to be in the thoughts of Atalanta but not only. The striker is finding little space in Antonio Conte’s Napoli and if things don’t change, he could change shirts in the winter window’.

Raspadori was a concrete target in the last days of August for Atalanta, but an economic agreement with the Neapolitans was never reached despite the strong pressure from Gian Piero Gasperini who is waiting for him with open arms.

In the last few weeks, Milan have also asked for and received information on the player. The Rossoneri are looking for a second striker, capable of playing alongside Morata. Napoli want to keep him until June, and thus are asking for €30m to let him leave.

The 24-year-old himself might push to leave in order to play more and boost his Italian national team hopes. The Bergamo club are in pole position, but the Milan management could accelerate.

    1. Also as DM we have now Fofana and if we add someone else we need to sell Bennacer first
At last lb they are looking for and RB Emerson is solid for now and teracciano could be solid so relax raspadori is good player still

      1. Is he? If he is a good player (which we don’t really need mind you), why isn’t he playing for conte?

The fúck are we gonna do with a SS?
Atm we have 7 attackers and 2 more on loan. 3 if we wanna count lazetic. And atm we have 5 midfielders and 2 of them are useless and 1 is always injured.

Tell me how we should sign raspadori and how it benefits the team?

I should ignore you the second I read Emerson is solid. Idk what’s the matter with me. You’re clearly clueless. Bye

  1. Uh what? The Milan management will accelerate? Since when does our management accelerate? If they ever even try to get him, they will low-ball him, stall, upset Napoli, and then a more agile club will snatch him.

All the “acceleration” this management is able to accomplish, is that of a turtle.

  2. The correct Italian International they should be investigating is Samuele Ricci first, then you can go after Raspadori (although I’d rather target Retegui for now).
