By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan face competition from a number of top clubs in the race to sign Sassuolo star Jeremie Boga this summer, according to a report.

It was reported by SportMediaset on Friday that both Milan and Napoli are taking a look at Boga, adding that Sassuolo value the player at €20million while Chelsea have a buy-back set at €16m.

MilanNews then confirmed that his profile pleases the club’s management because he can be used in both 4-4-2 and 4-3-3, the two preferred formations of the prospective next manager Ralf Rangnick.

According to La Repubblica on Sunday though (via FootballItalia), Napoli are serious about landing the Ivorian as a replacement for Jose Callejon, whose contract is due to expire at the end of this season.

Inter, Juventus, Milan, Roma, Arsenal, Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund are all in the running too as per the report. Boga has scored eight goals with four assists in 24 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo so far in the current campaign.
