AC Milan are one of three teams who are interested in signing Luis Alberto from Lazio, according to a report.
Alberto failed to show up for Lazio’s preseason retreat in Auronzo di Cadore which has fuelled speculation that he is looking to leave the capital club this summer to start a new adventure elsewhere, and Milan have been repeatedly linked.
As revealed by La Repubblica (via LazioNews24), there are currently no concrete offers for the Spanish playmaker, but there is a number of interested teams. Inter, Milan and Villarreal would be at the window, but at the moment no team have taken a real step towards signing him.
Last season, the 28-year-old scored 9 goals in the league and added 2 assists, after he amassed 6 goals and 15 assists in the 2019-20 season, becoming a key part of Simone Inzaghi’s system with the Aquile. Given the stand-off between club and player, it is a situation worth following.
