Repubblica: Milan to reignite pursuit of West Ham striker after Rebic sale

AC Milan are expected to reignite their pursuit of West Ham United striker Gianluca Scamacca in the coming days, according to a report.

Today’s edition of La Repubblica (via LaRoma24) writes that Scamacca continues to be the first target for Roma as they look to add a centre-forward this summer, but there are no updates on that front.

Instead, it is Milan who are expected to make a new attempt to sign the former Sassuolo striker in the next few days. Roma believe that Scamacca has given his word to them and they do not fear the competition.

The Rossoneri – with the sale of Ante Rebic – would have salary space and economic strength to convince West Ham. They will talk to the London club again soon, having received an initial rejection from Scamacca when they spoke to his entourage.
