AC Milan are currently weighing up a decision about their next head coach but it seems that the process may not be simple with Ibrahimovic preferring a different option to who may be the first choice.

The past few days have been hectic for Milan’s camp. Since the Liverpool loss, reports have suggested a number of things, but all of them point in one direction – Paulo Fonseca’s dismissal.

Starting the season as the Rossoneri have always brings problems, and Fonseca has been the target of heavy criticism, leading fans to ask about his future as the manager of the club, and it seems these questions are also being asked by the management.

After Tuesday’s loss, the management are believed to have met for several hours and some have suggested that they have already decided on the Portuguese coach’s future. If this were, hypothetically, true, then the next step would be to appoint a manager who would be ready now.

However, deciding on the next coach may not be easy as La Repubblica (via Milan News) suggests that Zlatan Ibrahimovic would prefer a different coach than Maurizio Sarri – who is believed to be the favoured choice. Instead, he may prefer to appoint Edin Terzic, who he has reportedly already spoken to.

  1. The best decision to make is to get rid of Zlatan. Of he is the boss and his team performs so badly, he is the main responsible! We had Kalulu and now he is starter at Juvwhile we spent 20 million on a terrible back från Tottenham., So, it is not Fonseca fault when the players we have are so bad!

    1. True true true, Kalulu is better than Royal and Fonseca is not a Milan level coach but he is made scapegoat here. Extremely poor management.

      Average CBs
      Below Average RBs
      No holding Midfielders
      One dimensional wingers

This looks like a mid table team

      1. He Fonseca specifically ask for Royal and the management brought him in…. He decided to shave off Kalulu…. I only blame the management for appointing him without considering his precedent with Roma first, same way he was fired four to five games into the season…. We had better coaches them, Motta who wanted Milan more than Juve, Conte and perhaps even Kompany is far better…. The management went for someone they will control like a toll boy.

      1. 2-3 players missing from midfield in possession style plus 4 RBs being useless…

add Frendrup, Ricci, Kayode and promote Liberalli, I can guarantee that all 3 can be brought with money from Calabria/Emerson, RLC and Bennacer sales

  2. Ibra, I have one guy from Albanian 2nd league, amazing coach. I think you should consider him, he is probably better than Terzic and he will work for 5000€ a month. He is really cheap so perfect for Milan.

  3. Suddenly I’m seeing Ibrahimovic’s name in almost every article. Well, if he’s so involved then if the worst happens this season he should also suffer the consequences.

    1. I can believe how this management go it so wrong in a very short period of time.
The first to go should be Ibra that is true, firstly for choosing Fonseca and then for the transfers made and no signing a true number 9.
A report was made they missed the boat on Osimehen and they themselves started the transfer weeks late than other clubs arguing that they did not want to rush in. Well they missed many targets to other club and for this Moncada, Furlani and Ibra should now be shown the carpark exit immediately! Milan should hire DeZerbi Now!

  4. What an idiot. Terzic is more or less the same as Pioli and Fonseca. It’s time for Redbird to sell the club.

These clueless clowns are an embarrassment to say the least. Unbelievable! Smh

  5. Laughing stock of Europe…
If I was Fonseca, I’d bench Leao, Theo, RLC, Tomori, Calabria/Emerson for the derby and bring in the kids… he has nothing to lose by all accounts
