Resto del Carlino: Milan watching development of Parma star closely

By Oliver Fisher -

Parma appear to be on the charge back to being a Serie A club again and part of the reason for that is thanks to the performances of Adrian Bernabé, who is reportedly attracting interest from AC Milan.

As the current leaders of the Serie B table, Parma have opened up a six-point gap to second place and are currently on course to make a long-awaited return to the top flight of Italian football. Bernabé’s talent has blossomed under the wise wing of Fabio Pecchia, but top clubs have noticed.

According to what Il Resto del Carlino (via OneFootball) reports, Torino and Sassuolo have been watching the Catalan forward for some time, but Milan and Juventus have been scouting him very closely too.

The will of the former Barcelona and Manchester City player, for the moment, appears clear: he is happy with the Ducali, with whom he very much shares the priority objective of promotion to Serie A. Then, evaluations can be made in the summer.

It is not the first time that Milan have been linked with the 22-year-old – who can play as an attacking or a box-to-box midfielder – given that there were stories last year and back in January that mentioned the Rossoneri.

Bernabe has eight goal contributions (five goals plus three assists) in 19 Serie B appearances for Parma this season, plus a goal in the Coppa Italia.
