Revealed: How Milan have covered five signings for this year with Cutrone sale

AC Milan have already covered the five purchases made in the current mercato for this fiscal year by selling Patrick Cutrone, it has been revealed.

The Rossoneri have made a number of signings already this summer: namely Theo Hernandez from Real Madrid, Rade Krunic from Empoli, Rafael Leao from Lille and Ismael Bennacer – also from Empoli.

Leo Duarte has also joined from Flamengo with his announcement imminent, while Milan are still hard at work in the mercato.

As MilanNews.it report, Milan have spent €90m this summer so far on the aforementioned quintet of players.

Due to the fact that each of them has signed a five-year deal with the club, their value is amortised over that period meaning the value on this year’s balance sheet is just €18m (€90m divided by the five years).

This, consequently, is an amount that has already been covered by Cutrone’s sale to Premier League side Wolves, as that counts as a pure capital gain due to the fact he cost nothing.
