Another source has confirmed that Samuele Ricci is a potential option for Como in this final part of the summer mercato.
Speaking during a video on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano provided an update about Ricci, who at the moment appears to be one of the players that the new head coach Ruben Amorim does not consider unsellable.

“At this moment we understand that Samuele Ricci has been offered to Como. Como is looking for Italian players, not just Kean in attack but also in other areas. Milan have a real list of surplus players that Bobby Gardiner, on behalf of Milan, is proposing to various clubs,” he said (via MilanNews).
“This applies to Nkunku, Santi Gimenez, and Estupiñán, but also to Ricci, who has been offered to Como. Como would consider Ricci on loan, while Milan wants a permanent transfer or one with an easy obligation to buy. Today, Milan does not accept the conditions put forward by Como.”
Alfredo Pedulla was the first to report earlier in the week that Ricci had been proposed to the Lariani, with Cesc Fabregas evaluating the possibility of adding the Italian. He is a homegrown player too, which is a big boost for the Champions League squad list regulation.
Tomori, Estupinan, Ricci, Leao and Gimenez, they all need to leave, especially PE, SR, RL and SG. Too bad YM and RLC won’t join them.

I like the lad but it’s reasonable – I think Comotto is ahead of him at this point. Modric, Jashari, Rabiot and Comotto with RLC capable of dropping back if required is plenty.
Ricci won’t play and for his own sake, he should leave.

True but you can’t have more than 17 foreign players in that 25 squad which means we would lose a slot for each locally trained player less than what is required. In other words, the overall list would be reduced as a result of not complying with the UEFA rules and regulations which is a punishment of sort. We need to have 4+4, that’s why I have divided them in two groups. What we do and have beyond that is a bonus and an advantage, of course, that can not be limited.
No you can have 8 club trained and 0 association trained players. But not more then 4 association players out of those 8 since you need a minimum of 4 club trained players.
So 8-0, 7-1 etc down to 4-4. But not 3 (club) – 5 (association).
So Milan can have a 25 man squad list with 17 foreign players and 8 club trained ones if they want.

Let’s start by saying that young players like the new Diawara (born in 2006) are not and will not be a problem for registering the Serie A squad , given that all Under 23s – that is, for the 2026/27 season, players born on or after January 1, 2004 – can be used outside the list of 25.

And to think the fans were calling for his signing and to build the midfield around him. My goodness a total disappointment. He literally did nothing in 33+ matches last season.
