In the last few days, Milan have been heavily linked with Bordeaux midfielder Yacine Adli. There were even reports about an agreement in principle between the clubs, but new updates have suggested otherwise.
According to RMC Sport journalist Loïc Tanzi, there is ‘nothing close’ regarding the transfer of Adli to Milan, contradicting the Italian reports. Instead, Milan are working on another player in Ligue 1, but the journalist didn’t mention the name.

It might be Boubacar Kamara, who has been linked with a move to the Rossoneri in the last few months. However, it could also be a completely different name that hasn’t been reported by the media yet, like we saw when the Florenzi links came out of nowhere.
Franck Kessie’s injury has perhaps pushed Milan to move faster on the market. In the coming days, we will hopefully get some more updates on the matter, with the season opener against Sampdoria around the corner.
