RMC Sport: Milan held talks with entourage of Belgian midfielder but pursuit has faded

By Oliver Fisher -

A journalist has reported that AC Milan spoke to the entourage of KRC Genk midfielder Pierre Dwomoh but are unlikely to sign him.

Journalist Sacha Tavolieri told Calciomercato.it last month that Milan are interested in signing the 17-year-old midfielder Dwomoh, adding that Rossoneri scouts have been watching him for months and ‘are gathering information’, while Calciomercato.com have confirmed the indiscretions coming from Belgium.

Now, Tavolieri – the Belgian correspondent of RMC Sport (via MilanNews) – spoke on Twitter about the future of Dwomoh and confirmed that the Milan management spoke to the player’s entourage about the possibility of trying a new experience in Italy.

However, it seems that at the moment the likelihood of a deal going through this summer is slim. There are also teams from the German Bundesliga interested in the player, and ‘everything is possible’ as per Tavolieri, but there is not only Milan who are keen on landing the talented teenager.
