Milan Primavera’s recent good form came to an end on Sunday afternoon as they were beaten 1-0 away from home by Roma.
The Primavera managed to build on their win in round 25 with another one last weekend, beating a struggling Napoli 2-1 side thanks to Filippo Scotti’s brace. The Rossoneri were seventh in the standings after that, and were hoping for another three points against Roma.

The first big chance in the capital came just before the half-hour mark when Morucci was put through on goal but failed to beat Bouyer. A few minutes later, Domnitei squared for Scotti, but his effort was deflected behind.
Roma’s breakthrough came just before the break. Almaviva shot across goal, Bouyer parried and Morucci reacted fastest to turn home the rebound for Roma. The Rossoneri nearly equalised in the 62nd minute when Mancioppi’s powerful effort was thwarted by Kilvinger.
Milan Primavera pushed during the five minutes of added time but were unable to draw level. As a result of the congestion in the middle of the standings, Giovanni Renna’s side have now dropped against down to 11th, while Roma are top.
