This summer, it appears AC Milan will make an attempt to bring Tony D’Amico to the club. However, it may not be so simple.
There are wholesale changes possible at Milan in the next few months. Indeed, Igli Tare looks set to leave and he may not be the only one to do so. Several questions need answering and nothing is really leaking so far.

Ibra, Cardinale and Roma
One of the main suggestions, though, is that the Rossoneri will look to hire D’Amico. Perhaps it is better to suggest that the push is coming from Giorgio Furlani, who campaigned so heavily for him last summer.
He is still the number one candidate in his eyes and the CEO will make another attempt to home him this summer. There are three issues, though. The first has already been reported; Gerry Cardinale must give the deal a green light.
As Calciomercato.com reports today, there are two more as well. Firstly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic could see his role grow in power. If this were the case, he would look for a different sporting director.
Then, there is the role of Roma. The Giallorossi are heavily interested in reuniting D’Amico with his former head coach Gian Piero Gasperini and they could hinder a move from Milano.

Giving Zlatan more power? The emperor has no clothes Gerry.
You want to set another season and another 150 mil on fire then by all means let Ibra make more decisions.
What a clown show.
Redbird, please learn from the failures of previous seasons, we must be serious. Inter, Napoli, Juventus, even Como, they are moving forward, don’t let us fall further behind.
Inter, yes. The others? No so much. There is no direction. We need a CEO like Gazidis. Him leaving was a disaster.
