AC Milan have expected interest in Christian Pulisic to arrive this summer; however, they didn’t expect it from Serie A.

It seems to be a busy summer for Milan already, with plenty of stars considering their futures and Christian Pulisic may join that list. He has not made his thoughts known yet, but he has not signed a renewal with the club.

It has been on the table for 18 months now, so it is not a case of him being sprung with the idea of signing a new deal. Instead, he has picked up and dropped talks on several occasions. So, it is difficult to know where his head is at.

Roma interested in Pulisic?

With his form over the past 18 months – ignoring 2026 so far – he is right to demand a place in a Champions League team. After all, he has been consistently fantastic. However, he would probably expect a move abroad.

Right now, though, new interest is arriving from Rome, where Gian Piero Gasperini is pushing for the American’s arrival.

The news, first reported by Radio Manà Manà, and then by Calciomercato.com‘s Daniele Longo, is that there is a concrete interest in the forward. Playing a key role in the Giallorossi’s Champions League campaign next season is the driving force.

Whether it will work is something else, especially with Gerry Cardinale and co. confident that he can renew.

  1. “ After all, he has been consistently fantastic.”

He wasn’t. He didn’t score a goal for months. Before that he was.

  2. people here are dumb enough to believe this

did you know Roma needs to raise like 50m before end of this month or they breach UEFA Settlement agreement? Where do you think they’ll get the money for this?

    1. They will sell 1 player. Next season they will get over 100M€ from Champions League so they can easily invest and buy using that money? Where do you think clubs get money usually? Find it behind the training grounds in a bag?

      1. yeah UEFA will just give them 100m just for showing up and obviously they can just sell 1 player and not replace him, have no one else to buy and use all that budget to buy Pulisic

Grow a brain before typing, you have no idea how FFP works.

          1. thats NEXT YEARS books they need money in THIS YEARS books

is that clear to you now? Or do you want me to break it down to elementary school level?

          2. @Boulden, YES. So they sell one player now, on or before June 30, for THIS YEAR’S books, then they clear the protocol, then the next day on July 1 it’s the next fiscal year (and the transfer window opens), and suddenly they can spend money. It’s not hard.
