Romagnoli: “We wish Calabria the best, we can challenge Juve”

By MaaxiAngelo -

Alessio Romagnoli spoke to Sky Italia after Milan’s 4-1 away against Chievo at the Stadio MarcAntonio Bentegodi.

A howler of an own goal from Chievo was compounded by goals from Suso, Hakan Calhanoglu and Nikola Kalanic; all of which rendered a Valter Birsa strike mere consolation.

Romagnoli begun by addressing the injury to teammate Davide Calabria, before discussing the team’s performance, coach Montella and the upcoming game against Juventus.

“He [Calabria] was bledding from his nose, he said, we all wish him the best. He must come back soon,” the defender begun.

“We are all aware who our group players are, it has very good and high quality. There was no victories, we had a bit of bad luck, and a bit was our own fault. We put in everything we had and today we won.”

On Montella: We won for him, yes, everyone did, even the manager is a part of the group.

“We can put them [Juve] in trouble, we did it already last year. We hope to succeed and win again.”
