AC Milan appear to be close to sealing the exit of Alexis Saelemaekers as he has given the green light to joining Bologna, according to a report.

There have been a number of different clubs that have been linked with a move for Saelemaekers during the current window including Besiktas in Turkey and Real Betis in Spain, but each track seemed to go quiet.
According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano, Bologna are closing in on a deal to sign Saelemaekers from Milan.
A verbal agreement has been reached this morning between the two clubs, and the deal is expected to be completed by Tuesday. It is just a matter of resolving the final details, while the formula was not mentioned.
Di Marzio adds that the player has given the green light to the idea of joining the Rossoblu.

He didn’t push to go out but according to many articles, last year he did have a bad attitudes and disagreements with Pioli when was benched more often than not. I think this is one of the reasons Pioli, and thus the administration, want to get rid of him

This is unfortunate. Saeleamaekers is a reliable bench player. He can help see a lead through till the end and cover for other positions. Too bad he thinks he is better than he really is and expects a lot of playing time.
From possible scudetto and champions league accomplishments to playing as a sandwich meat.
I hope this is not loan with option to buy , but permanent sale or loan with obligation to buy . He dont have place on squad next season if bologna return him back
