In the past 12 hours, AC Milan had been linked to Udinese midfielder Arthur Atta, but he will not be joining the club.
With Milan not waiting around to get deals done, it feels like the Italian mercato could become a bit livelier, so as not to fall behind the Rossoneri. Indeed, they have shown that they have the funds there to enjoy the mercato.

So, if they have similar targets, why wait around to allow them a chance to get involved?
Atta will not join Milan
Well, it seems that is the thought process of Fiorentina, who have moved to sign Atta after a meeting between Udinese and the Diavolo at Casa Milan last night. It was reported that the midfielder was a potential target and from there, La Viola have rushed to get a deal through.
Now, the deal has been done, with Fabrizio Romano confirming that terms have been agreed and the ‘Here we go’ catchphrase has been used.
“Fiorentina have agreed a deal with Udinese to sign Arthur Atta, here we go! Understand the fee will be €30m plus add-ons and a sell-on clause. Atta, on his way to Florence right now for medical tests and contract signing at Fiorentina.”

I don’t know why Milan was being rumored to be interested in him.
In Amorim’s 3421 he could only play on the left behind the striker because he is very much one footed and Milan already have Pulisic and Nkunku there.
I don’t think he is a good fit to play one of the 2 spots in the center of the midfield.
Uma melhor contratação para a posição e a mais acertada opção e Lucas Bergval depois dos Spurs comprar Tonalli e M. Fernandes, a equipa do Spurs não terá espaço para Bergval , é uma razão para o Milan poder contratar
Rather spend the same 30M on Alajbegovic.

Just one discussion, suddenly journalist assume we linked to Atta. Next day, he’s going to medical test for 30+ mil. Just wow, I think Udinese just need our help to get better price for their player
He’s good but that’s a gamble for 30m and what I can only assume is a large chunk of their budget. I guess Fiorentina doesn’t want to dabble in relegation territory this season.
Surprised that Fiorentina has the budget to spend 30mil on one player.
