Arnaut Danjuma has been linked with a move to AC Milan in the last few days but it seems the Dutchman had decided to join Everton instead. In fact, the latter have reached an agreement with Villarreal.
Milan initially opened talks with Villarreal for Samuel Chukwueze and while that track is still alive, the Danjuma option also emerged during the talks. The Dutchman was believed to be a low-cost solution for the attack, given his versatility.
Just this morning, Gazzetta Dello Sport reported that the Rossoneri were expected to sign Danjuma with a low formula. However, as per Fabrizio Romano, the player has now decided that Evrton is the best move for his career.
Furthermore, as the journalist continues, Villarreal have accepted the bid from Everton which means Milan are out of the race. Most likely, as was highlighted in the Gazzetta Dello Sport report, it’s because the Rossoneri were unsure of the obligation to buy that the Spanish side demanded.
It’s not a huge loss for Milan as Danjuma was never a primary target, but rather a low-cost opportunity on the market. Certainly, they wouldn’t have been able to guarantee a starting spot.

Honestly, this is a relief! I know that he can cover several positions, but everything says that he is simply not a high-quality solution! I don’t know if they will go harder now towards the transfer of Chukwueze !? Where will Pulisic go then, and we will be missing a striker! We’ll see what they come up with.
He’s a good backup but apparently he doesn’t work hard and has attitude problems so I’m not fussing over missing him
