Yunus Musah can leave AC Milan this summer. However, finalising a deal is proving to be a difficult task for a few reasons.
All summer, it has seemed like Musah could leave Milan if the right offer arrived. At first, it was Napoli who bit, but they never arranged a departure for Anguissa, so that path went dry… for a while. Of course, then things got complicated.

At this point, reports suggest that Massimiliano Allegri likes the midfielder. However, around the same time, Napoli re-entered the scene, whilst Premier League interest started to grow. Though nothing much has moved since then.
Musah’s situation
This week, it has seemed more likely that the destination would be Nottingham, rather than Naples. Yet, no action has been taken, but contact still remains regular between the Premier League outfit and the Rossoneri, according to Fabrizio Romano, per @Garante_Il on X.

“Nottingham Forest: contacts for Musah are also moving forward. There have been new calls from Nottingham Forest in the last 24-48 hours, but at the moment, nothing advanced yet, as Forest has been focusing on other operations.”
Considering other operations are being prioritised, it may not be what the Diavolo want or need to hear…

who are we singing as a replacement then? we let Bondo leave already
also, if selling him guarantees Kean… I’m down, but I doubt that we will spend 52M on him
We don’t need replacement for him. We just need him to leave. We already got 3 new mids, plus Adli is still here and Bennacer, also that kid that played great vs Leeds. All better players than him.
I actually think Adli and Bennacer will leave before Musah does.
Commuto left on loan a long time ago…
if we are gonna be mainly 3-5-2 and no rotations to 4-3-3 then I would say it makes sense to just sell Musah for 30M, even more if we are gonna reinvest it in Lucumi and Kean
with Leao(Okafor) – Kean (Gimenez) as top 2, Pulisic will be the box-crasher type of midfielder sub being RLC. the other 4 would be the more deep-lying midfielders.
so although a bit short on the players I guess it could work. even more since DeWinter can technically play as CDM (emphasis on technically)
Adli?? is not better, not by a mile. Not one team has come in for him, not one. Fiorentina didn’t want him either. And Allegri banished him to Futuro. My goodness, have you watched him play? He has played his last match for Milan.
Adli is way better than Musah. Fiorentina didn’t signed him cause they had obligation to other deals. And what kind of logic is that, no one came for Leao either is he now a bad player?
No one come for Leao because they know Milan only accept 100++ but Adli is below 10M
Wow you should go speak with Allegri then convince him that Adli is a better player. Fiorentina didn’t move for him because he was not worth the investment. other obligations? Yes, better ones! that fact that no one values him enough to make an investment is only one reason…the other reasons I stated add them all up TOGETHER, and you have you answer. Leao is considered unsellable and has been linked with every major club with enough cash to spend. Have you seen Adli play? There is a reason he is a reason he is been banished. Simple. Not a good player. And certainly not better than any of our current squad.
Musah is staying.
Unless Forest pay 25-30M, then that would be a good deal perhaps, but Allegri seems to see a lot of value in him, so maybe you are right.
