Romano: Harder interest ‘not related to Boniface’ as Milan make new contacts

AC Milan have made new contacts for the Sporting Lisbon striker Conrad Harder in the last few days, according to a report, and the matter is not related to Victor Boniface.

The Rossoneri are looking to reinforce the squad with at least one striker and several names have been linked with the club. Boniface arrived to undergo his medical tests yesterday but no decision has been made on that signing yet, as there are some doubts about his knee.

In the meantime, as reported by Fabrizio Romano on his YouTube channel, Milan are very interested in Harder of Sporting Lisbon. The important thing to note here is that the operation isn’t related to the outcome of the Boniface saga, per the journalist.

New contacts made

Indeed, Milan have been working on the 20-year-old for several weeks and new contacts have been made in the last 24-48 hours. As such, it’s possible that the Rossoneri could end up signing both Harder and Boniface, or just one of them.

Matteo Moretto also confirmed Milan’s interest in Harder earlier today and it remains to be seen what the price tag will be. What’s clear is that there is heavy competition for the player, not just from France but also England, so it might not be easy to get it over the line.

  1. Sort of baffling, since it will mean we threw away 35M on Gimenez, and since we could use another CB. Let’s say we complete the Boniface and Harder signing. Will someone come in for Gimenez at the 28-30M we would need to not book a loss within one week of the transfer window closing? It’s crazy.

    1. Buddy. its simple. Cardinali’s gang are interested in selling more than buying. its pure cheap strategy . after selling/collecting money they start looking for whatever left, not only this, but baragin on rubbish left over.

    2. What are you talking about? Teams like Milan need more than one good striker plus Boniface will be unavailable for couple months for African CON. Harder will be a sub.

  2. Since it’s no time we are playing hard we don’t need both of them also we don’t want to lose both of them Boniface’s knee condition isn’t good and we not sure if we can make it that deal for Conrad so long we are keeping Boniface until canrad harder and his club accepts our offer then we can send back Boniface to his club

      1. Santi will not leave this summer. Dusan only coming if boniface failed medical test while harder just deputy for boniface/dusan. Allegri will use 352 . Chukwueze on his way out because he can only play as winger

  3. We could have just signed a proven striker in Tammy Abraham when his loan ended. He would have dominated with these new additions. Now we are paying more for unproven strikers. What a mess.

  4. Please sign Harder. In two years he will be special. He and Carmada will be Milan front line for years. Harder has everything. He’s only 20 and will grow quickly.
