AC Milan currently view Theo Hernandez as being ‘untouchable’ and they would not even consider bids of over €50-60 million were they to arrive, a report claims.
As has been reported by Fabrizio Romano for Caught Offside, the Rossoneri are not at all interested in the reported interest in Hernandez from the Premier League.
It is believed that Arsenal could be interested in the Frenchman who, whilst struggling at times this season, is one of the most talented players in the Milan squad.
He is crucial to the way that Milan play and when missing, the impact is obvious. It would take a remarkably high bid from the Premier League in excess of €50-60 million. It seems unlikely that a bid of that nature will be received.
The one thing that could throw a spanner in the works for Milan is if they do not qualify for the Champions League. Hernandez could then choose to pursue a move.
Add another 25mill if it is Chelsea
For 60 mil they can buy some no name from England, no, one of the best left back in the world.
100M no less
This is logical thinking. When, you have good players in team like Bennacer, Tonali, Theo, Leao, Tomori and they all have better contracts than when they started playing for Milan you expect at least to gaing minimum income for expenses. We can see how champions league result is important, but it is in combination with good result in serie a every season. If they fail to reach that minimum you need to change a squad little bit and sell someone for new arrivals.
50-60?? Mykhaylo Mudryk was sold for 100 if Im not mistaken and his name is relatively new. he never proved himself on a big stage for a relatively long period of time. For Theo we should ask a minimum of 150 but more realistically 100+ would still be OK. 100 for him, 120 for Leao.
Well, he’s happy at Milan, quick to sign extension and seems to be loving life in Italy (apart from the recent robbery). Therefore, suitors would have to pay premium to even make Milan think.
But how much is reasonable?
IIRC, Theo’s brother (Lucas) was bought by Bayern for 80M, and considering Theo has probably eclipsed him, 100M sounds the bare minimum indeed. Not to mention that Chelsea spent 70M for Cucurella??? I meant, come on, 60M on Theo is ridiculous. The less said about Maguire’s fee the better.
I think ~100mm would be about right given the comps. Still, just because someone set the market at 70-80mm it doesn’t mean that’s the fair price. Are Lucas and Cucurella really worth that much? It could be that the buyer was just dumb. Hard to imagine in Bayern’s case, but too easy for Chelsea.
