The family of AC Milan forward Rafael Leao have been ‘protecting’ the Portuguese star during the ongoing contract negotiations which could come to a head soon, a report claims.

As has been reported by Fabrizio Romano for Caught Offside, the former Lille man is still discussing his new deal with the club and it has been a very stressful time for him.
That is why the family have been making sure to protect him as much as possible from the outside world as there is a lot of pressure from fans and media to get the deal signed.
It is believed that a renewal is now much closer than it was a couple of weeks ago and the talks are going to be picked up again very soon.
Leao was the star of Milan’s recent 4-0 victory away at Serie A leaders Napoli in which he scored two superb goals when playing in his favoured role.
