By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan appear to have missed out on the signing of Toulouse midfielder Kouadio Kone who is on his way to Borussia Mönchengladbach.

In our most recent update on the situation, we told you how Milan have an advantage over other sides – namely Borussia Monchengladbach – in terms of the preferences of the player, but that the German club are serious about landing him.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Mönchengladbach are now one step away from signing Kone from Toulouse. They have made a €9m bid which is set to be accepted and personal terms have been agreed.

He adds that Milan were offering €5m plus add ons, and that the last details are being filed with Toulouse and the deal will be done.

According to the information that we handle, the player preferred the idea of a move to join Milan but in the end his club have only chosen to accept the higher offer.

  1. If we cannot spend $9m on such a promising talent we are doomed and will never compete with Inter and Juve and may as well stop bullshitting us fans…terrible! 9m is peanuts now a days to spend on a young talent. Wake up Milan!
