Romano: Milan agree two-year deal with Chelsea striker and will try again for Ziyech

AC Milan are negotiating with Chelsea over the possibility of signing two forwards this summer, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The journalist spoke during Don Robbie’s podcast (via MilanXtra) and gave an update on the rumours linking Milan with a move for Ziyech, describing it as ‘an interesting situation’ because Milan have indeed asked for him.

Chelsea’s stance for the time being is clear as they have said that they will not give any discounts having paid €40m to sign him from Ajax. The Blues want to keep the player, but the Rossoneri will try again during the window.

Regarding Olivier Giroud meanwhile, the 34-year-old French striker has an agreement on personal terms with Milan over a two-year contract at €3.5m net per season, but Chelsea are still negotiating with Milan about the fee because the Diavolo want him for free. The player is clear: he wants to try a new experience in Italy with Milan.
