AC Milan are ‘in love’ with the Strasbourg right-back Guela Doue and a new offer is being prepared for the French side, according to a report.
Following the departures of Davide Calabria, Kyle Walker and soon also Emerson Royal, who is undergoing medicals for Flamengo today, Milan need to sign a right-back. With Pervis Estupinan in place for the opposite side, only this signing is needed to complete the defence.

Quite a few players have been linked with the Rossoneri in recent weeks, above all Marc Pubill, but they pulled out of the deal at the last second and Atletico Madrid swooped in. The only main target remaining, as such, is Guela Doue.
Strasbourg want €30m
According to Fabrizio Romano, Milan are ‘in love’ with Doue as they are convinced that he’s a player with significant potential. As such, they are also ready to improve their offer in order to get closer to Strasbourg’s demands.

However, the French side are putting up a wall as they believe that today, the 22-year-old is worth £25m, so close to €30m. Furthermore, they believe that this figure could easily rise to €40-45m if the player is given one more year at the club.
That is also why Strasbourg are yet to give the green light to Milan. The Rossoneri will try until the very end before they will be forced to move on to other targets, but for now the deal remains complicated (albeit not closed).

tbh 30 mil is steep for a rb coming from France however if Tare and Allegri this is the guy for the RB spot we should sign him. We can’t have anymore mistakes like the last transfer windows. Either you try and build a core of a team for several seasons or you just can’t compete for any silverware
Not every purchase has to be a battle of wills, sometimes the management just need to pay up, they need to back Allegri and Tare who want to get results on the pitch and if they feel this signing will further the cause of results on the pitch then the management should pay and not waste time (getting the player now, allows for the coach to bed the player in and build a rapport with the player and the player with his teammates), this precious time could be the difference in making the player a success or a failure at the club.
Notwithstanding the above I really wanted Dodo in that position
I agree with u 100%, let us see how this develops
Well, Liverpool just paid a 100€ million for a Mr. Nobody coming from the Bundesliga
Frustratingly, I guess we’re not really dealing with Strasbourg here, we’re dealing with ‘Chelsea Futuro’. And they probably want to move him over at some point.
Seems like a folly unless we really believe he’s going to be top class.
Dodo for 20M is still a good option, heck if we are reaching 30M – Vanderson is also logical
What they are demanding is crazy for a rookie in the French league. If he was that good, PSG, Real Madrid, Man. City, etc., would have shown interest. I guess Milan want him more for economic reasons. As for Strasbourg and Chelsea, they are playing a dicey game holding out for more. Don’t see anyone else coming if Milan pulls out.
Rookie? With almost 100 games in Ligue 1? ?
Psg has hakimi
Real has Trent
City has a lot of rotation players why would they spend 20+ m on a player that will warm the bench
We surely have other options…
Dodo or Vanderson over him
