Romano: Milan reject agent offers as they only want €25m Real Madrid man – the situation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have full confidence in on-loan playmaker Brahim Diaz and will meet with Real Madrid to discuss his future, a report claims.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest for Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri management are absolutely convinced of the investment made to sign the 21-year-old talent from Real Madrid, and even though he still in the process of settling in excellent results are beginning to emerge.

Against Torino we saw the best version of Brahim Diaz as the playmaker did a fantastic job between the lines, notching an assist for Rafael Leao’s opener and winning the penalty that ended up making it 2-0.

Milan’s position is clear: they will continue to put full trust in him and in the meantime they will hold talks with Real Madrid between now and the end of the season to decide his future.

Real Madrid’s current valuation of the player is €25m, and the next few months will be key in figuring out if there is any room to negotiate on that figure. For now there are no discounts though, so Milan are waiting for the right moment to launch their assault.

Meanwhile, directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have in recent weeks rejected a number of attacking midfielders that they have been offered. Different players from different leagues have been offered to the Rossoneri, plus the Papu Gomez idea, but Milan put their faith in Brahim.
