Alessio Romagnoli’s contract will expire at the end of the season and AC Milan don’t want to lose their captain for free. Therefore, talks with take place with agent Mino Raiola soon to try to reach a solution.
The centre-back has played a lot less since the arrival of Fikayo Tomori but as a result of the tight schedule, he has still got a lot of playing time. The feeling, therefore, is that a renewal is possible despite being the third choice.
According to the latest reports from Fabrizio Romano, Milan have scheduled a meeting with Raiola to discuss the future of Romagnoli. The latter, having always been professional, is someone that the club directors appreciate a lot.
The Rossoneri are back at the highest levels and aim to be in the Champions League next season as well. Having three strong centre-backs in the squad, therefore, only makes sense and renewing Romagnoli’s deal is probably the best solution (at the right price).
