Romano: Milan ‘signing all documents’ for Hodzic with Futuro plans in place already

By Ben Dixon -

AC Milan are consistently looking to better themselves now and in the future during the mercato, and today, they are finalising a deal for a young midfielder who will play an intriguing role.

Of course, the focus for Milan is improving the senior squad, and that is the primary focus for every football club during the summer. However, the Rossoneri also take a keen interest in their future and have made several investments in their Futuro squad this summer.

Given the Futuro squad only came to life recently, the level of investment is understandable, but the signings made are spread between two categories – players who will solely be a part of that squad, and players who could step up to the senior squad eventually, and the Diavolo’s latest business is done in view of the latter category.

As Fabrizio Romano reports, today, Milan are signing the documents for Demirel Hodzic, the midfielder born in 2005, and he will join the club from Bologna.

Romano continues, stating that the midfielder will play for the Futuro side, but interestingly, he will train with the first team, just like Francesco Camarda, Kevin Zeroli and Alex Jimenez – all players who are thought to have futures with the senior side.

  1. All these players have futures with the senior side ?? I think most of them will end up with loan out or loan with option to buy or free transfer with sell on clause 50%…

    1. you need depth for Zeroli, Liberalli, Camarda, Eletu, Scottil, Sia, Jimenez, Bartesaghi to shine and for them to use every chance they get to prove themselves in senior side.

If only senior side can be fixed as easily:
Pobega, Adli, RLC and Jovic are embarrassing to have
