Jackson crossed off
This is the case with Jackson, who has been valued at €115 million by Chelsea, which is far from realistic. So, Fabrizio Romano stated on his YouTube that Milan will stop pursuing the target, via MilanNews.
“We can almost cross Nicolas Jackson’s name off AC Milan’s attacking squad because Chelsea don’t intend to lower his price to an affordable one. The starting value is around €100 million, which could even drop to €85-90 million, but these are impossible figures for Italian football.”
There are other names on the list, of course, even in the Premier League there is the idea of Jean-Philippe Mateta. Past the Frenchman, several other candidates are also emerging, so this is far from the end of the road.

Good, he is not a proven striker, his numbers are nowhere near justification to a 100 M price tag. Like the article says, inflated prices (ridiculous prices for some players, here this Jackson 115 M being a clear example). If Milan wants a proven striker though, is very true that it won’t be less than 70-80 M, and I don’t see this management expending that on one player. In that case i would go for Aubameyang who is free at the moment, and sign him for the season (with option for a further season based on performance); or would try to see if with 15-20 M Mitrović could come (if he agrees to lower his salary of course). They should’ve gone for Osimhen (40-50 M cash + Musah and Okafor or any other player that Milan won’t consider for next season that could have been of interest for Napoli) but it seems Galatasaray will finally get him. Maybe 50 M for Loïs Openda? And is amazing how come they didn’t go for Jonathan David who would have been for free, but no, Juventus got that bargain. Boniface is a good option, and if not him from Leverkusen, i would consider Patrick Schick
