AC Milan have opened official talks with AZ Alkmaar to try and find an agreement for Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, a report claims.
As has been reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Rossoneri appear to be pushing ahead in their efforts to sign Reijnders having already reinforced the midfield slightly with Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Milan have been linked with a host of midfielders both before and after it became clear that Sandro Tonali is moving to Newcastle, which was officially confirmed on Monday.
Reijnders is a player that Milan have already agreed personal terms with, so he would earn 1.7 million per season should the deal be struck with AZ.
As per the report, the first verbal bid is expected to be €19 million which should not be too far from AZ’s valuation, with the talks set to continue throughout the week to find an agreement.
The other midfielder Milan are thought to have agreed personal terms with is Yunus Musah of Valencia.

Dude , you support wrong team , you are supposed support rich club in EPL or oil state club in paris if you are desperate for star player. Italian club cannot afford to pay transfer fee & salary for your dreaming star man. What do you expect AC Milan sign ? Haaland ? De bruyne ? Salah ? Mbappe ? Just accept reality AC Milan cannot sign player more than 35m euro / player now. Even salary max only 7-8m euro / season , how you expect star man accept that salary ? Maybe. Remember Kamada is a Maldini target. It’s obvious they have prioritized other signings now, such as Reijnders and Musah, who were not mentioned when Maldini and Massara were around. So, the evolving situation doesn’t exactly qualify as “lies”. What they may be doing is keeping Kamada on the hook in case their new targets don’t work out. Kamada is entitled to move on if he doesn’t like the situation. Also of note, all of the midfielders being talked about now are central midfielders and wingers, not playmakers. Could it be Pioli has decided to switch to 4-3-3 thus rendering the whole Kamada thing moot?
P.S. Kamada would also take up a non-EU slot, and they are talking about Chukwueze. After Loftus-Cheek it means we only have 1 non-EU slot left.
It’s because if we want Chukuwueze then we can’t sign Kamada. Those are rules. The UK had Brexit and all. Loftus-Cheek is non EU.
I am not defending this management and I think letting Tonali was a big mistake, but educate yourself.

even though i pretty much detest cardinale and want him and his cronies to to go where the pebber grows i actually find this transfer sort of interesting just like the potenial arrival of Chukwueze but lets see how it goes.

Im willing to wait and see how things pans out in the mercato but things deffently isnt ok as things stands and the entire month of june has been attrocious in how the management has moved out important figures of the club.

Let’s not get over our heads here. RLC and Reindeer are merely substitute players quality wise but this management already made RLC first teamer with 4 millions a season salary. And with his age and history of injuries, there’s no resale value. So RLC is indeed Tonali’s replacement. Reindeer is will be 25 and still playing in Eredivisie. If he’s that good why isn’t he at least performing in PL already?
RLC had been sought by Maldini far before Tonali was sold.
He was seen as Kessie’s replacement. The management knew they hadn’t replaced Kessie.
That’s what I’m saying. RLC is at most a bench player and in no circumstances replacement for either Tonali or Kessie. He is no upgrade. Same goes for Reijnders.
Only time will tell, we can’t begin to cast any aspersions on any signing just yet.
