Samuele Ricci looks set to become AC Milan’s first official signing this summer, as Fabrizio Romano has tweeted the ‘Here we go’ transfer.
Earlier today, it was reported that Milan and Torino were negotiating the final details of the transfer, with Ricci ready to cut his vacation in Uganda short. It seems that the report was onto something as the medical tests have indeed been scheduled for next week.

While Milan have already confirmed the signing of Luka Modric, through the words of Igli Tare, Ricci is set to become the first official signing of the summer. The announcement for the Croatian still hinges on Real Madrid’s Club World Cup adventure.
‘Here we go’ arrives for the transfer
On his X account, as stated, Romano has tweeted the ‘Here we go’ for the transfer as Milan and Torino have reached an agreement at €25m including bonuses (€23m + €2m). The medical tests have been scheduled for early next week, with the player now officially alerted.

Romano’s colleague Matteo Moretto added that the midfielder will sign a five-year deal with the Rossoneri. Considering that he’s still young (23), plays in a defensive midfield role and is Italian, this is a great signing for Milan on all fronts.

Congratulations to Ricci and ACM, I think and hope this will go well.
Forza Milan
23M, now that’s a great deal… bravo Tare and Allegri… finally signs of the club being run by actual people who know the sport
Modric and Ricci before July… nice time to be a Milanista
ST, fullbacks, 1-2 more midfielders and vice-Leao
We’ve said the same about many a player in the past, fingers crossed this is one that actually works out
and it is a role that we need. Hope the kid does well.
Thats more cheap than tonali. I hope he can success like tonali in ACM , but if he success this owner will sell him 70m euro ( if there is offer from EPL or rich club) after 2 or 3 years from now
Won’t care if get a Scudetto in the meantime…
Yes! Thank you Mr Tare and Allegri! Keep it up…
Finally some good news.
Finally a signing I can get behind🙌
Ditto.
Great deal, didn’t overpay a cent, the difference of having someone in charge who knows what he’s doing.
Great price. Knowing how Cairo can behave, this is indeed a great deal.
If me have to choose next one is Luka Pelegrini
Tare made a good purchase at a good price. Furlani would have kept negotiating over a 2mil discount until end of August. Ricci is a good fit for Allegri’s system. Not to mention Italian ranks +1.
25 mln is a good price for Ricci. All the talk about a 35-40 mln price tag turned out to be media stuff.
Great addition to the team. Finally a defensive-lying playmaker. A young Italian with great potential. Looks like we’re setting out for a 4 3 3? Next incoming is modric and the midfield is taking shape!
Haven’t seen that much of him playing, and the youtube highlights are mostly filled by tackles and sideways passing, but I guess those are misleading many times, as they can make Chukwueze and Saelemaekers look like Messi.
Still, for example Jashari, who plays the same position, looks much better to me.
Let’s hope that there’s more to Ricci than being italian, because getting him probably means we won’t be getting any other midfielders.
I hope I’m wrong and he doesn’t turn into the next Lucas Biglia, who wouldn’t pass a ball forward even if you payed him.
Some fans are crazy! I dont even know why they are hyping him. He isnt even better than frattesi. Jashari is a beast! Complete midfielder! but Ricci looolll….. this is just another krunic.
Whoop!!! A great start. Let’s hope this is the first green shoots of things being done properly!
We signed him for just 23+2 million from Torino? I would have thought Torino would have demanded a lot more. I am surprised.
Welcome! Keep going Tare!
Next: Jashari, Xhaka, Kessie, those Three Musketeers are key players.
Forza Ricci, welcome on board!
Everyone seem to be happy about the acquisition. I hope if he flops, nobody will bash the management. Because I know very well that the fans endorsed 80% of our flops but now, the management are the only ones receiving the bashing
True words.
Cardinale Cuck over here
Lol @ these moody boys hoping to see Ricci flops. If he flops, he flops. He is not the first to flop here and will not be the last. It is entirely normal if he flops, chill out boys
Literally don’t think there’s one commenter here that wants to see him flop
