Romano: Real Betis star will join Milan in 2024 with terms agreed – €2m offer prepared

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have reached an agreement with Juan Miranda and his entourage over a multi-year deal and they will now try to bring forward his arrival, a report claims.

Milan were first linked with Miranda during the summer transfer window when an upgrade on Fode Ballo-Toure was sought for the deputy left-back position, though they were unable to get a deal done and thus focus shifted to future mercatos.

According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations continued and Milan have now ‘reached an agreement’ with Miranda who will join the club in 2024. Personal terms have all been agreed, and thus the signing can be considered wrapped up.

His contract will be valid until June 2028, but now what remains is to establish when he will arrive and if it will be a four year deal or a four and a half year one. Milan will now offer around €2m to Real Betis to bring forward the deal to January.

Miranda’s contract expires in June, which means the LaLiga side are faced with a dilemma of whether to let him walk for free or get a small amount next month.

  1. Yeah, they will keep him until the end of season as he is a first team player. You can’t get anyone reasonable for 2M in January.
