A very positive update has arrived regarding the future of Francesco Camarda with AC Milan advancing in talks over his first professional deal ahead of the new year.
Camarda became a record-breaker on Saturday evening, when Stefano Pioli decided to send him on in the 84th minute of the 1-0 win over Fiorentina. At the age of 15 years and 260 days, the striker became the youngest Serie A debutant in Serie A history.
As his name was being read out by the announcer and cheered, the camera panned to Camarda’s parents and his mother in particular who burst into tears showing just how much it means to them.
Stories have since come out about how the Primavera star bought tickets instead of asking the club for them and also brought pastries to training yesterday, but also more worryingly there have been rumours that a number of clubs like Manchester City want him.
According to what is being reported by Fabrizio Romano, Milan are ‘in advanced talks’ to seal an agreement with Camarda to sign his first professional deal in March, which is when he turned 16 years of age and is eligible to do so.
Romano confirms that Borussia Dortmund and other European clubs are interested in signing the teenager, but Camarda ‘only wants to play for AC Milan’ who are his boyhood club and the team where he came through various levels of the youth sector.
