Ronaldinho spoke about his move to AC Milan at a recent event and made it clear that it was a no-brainer for him. He also stated that it’s an experience he will never forget.

After his success at Barcelona, Ronaldinho decided to join Milan in the summer of 2008 and stayed there until January 2011. In other words, he didn’t get to experience the Scudetto but nevertheless had some impact that season (three assists).

Speaking at the Festival dello Sport, as cited by Luca Cilli, Ronaldinho shared his thoughts on his time at Milan and what it was like to play for such a prestigious club. He praised every single aspect of the club, stating that it was a dream.

“The move to Milan was almost natural, we are talking about one of the strongest teams in the world and it’s a dream for all footballers to play with that shirt. Two and a half unforgettable years: the affection of the fans, the joy, the goal in the derby.

“I remember every single moment. Top players: Ibrahimovic, Pato, Gattuso, Maldini, Nesta, Beckham, Seedorf. What a team! Ancelotti is a great coach, one of the best in history. Personally, it was a pleasure to work with him,” he stated.

The rest of the attacking midfielder’s career was not that successful, jumping from club to club before eventually retiring at the start of 2018. However, he’s a player that almost everyone knows, having done so well for Barcelona and Brazil.
