AC Milan have made changes to their training methods recently which has coincided in an upturn of results for Stefano Pioli’s side.
As has been reported by Radio Rossonera on YouTube (via Francesco Nasato), there has been a change to the methodology used on the training ground by Milan in recent weeks.
The main change is that there is extra strength work for all of the players. It would be fair to assume that this strength work is to help build up the areas that players keep getting injuries in.
“Milan has partly changed its training methodology, it has started to reintroduce some extra strength work thanks to the calendar and a change in general ideas which evidently pays off,” Simone Cristao said on Radio Rossonera.
Milan have struggled horrendously with muscular injuries so far this season, and it has potentially already put an end to their chances of winning the Serie A title.
Fans expressed anger with this run of injuries and suggested that it is not just bad luck, but the fault of those deciding the workloads for players at the club.
Milan have managed to avoid injuries in their last few matches, although it seems unlikely that extra strength training would have taken effect so quickly.
The general change of ideas in training and the confidence built from winning matches will be the main reasons behind the improved form.
the method is “trust the youngsters (primaveras) as rotation”
Sounds like Milan coach and the training staff are rookies to the job. They are not doing all this for the first time in their career, are they?
I think the responsibility for these injuries are of Pioli’s and his staff. No more no less!!
