RR: Milan ready to pounce if Fiorentina open to exit of forward – loan solution is welcome

AC Milan are ready to pounce if Fiorentina open up regarding a possible exit for striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to a report.

Tuttosport reported on Monday (via MilanNews) that Milan are looking for a new striker on the market, but a young prospect who can grow alongside Ibrahimovic, and that the management have identified Vlahovic as the perfect profile.

Sky Italia reported yesterday though that Hellas Verona have set their sights on the Serbia international too, and would be open to welcoming him on loan.

According to Simone Cristao of Radio Rossonera on Twitter, if Fiorentina open up to the idea of loaning Vlahovic out then Milan will be ready and waiting to try and seize the opportunity.

We asked Cristao for any more information, such as the possibility of a loan with option or obligation to buy. He added that the clubs have not yet thought about the possible formula, only that if Fiorentina open up they will discuss it, and Milan have made it known that a loan solution is welcome.

The 20-year-old scored eight goals in 34 appearances across all competitions for La Viola and has been tipped for an exit as Fiorentina continue to be linked with other strikers such as Andrea Belotti.
