Sacchi urges Milan to face Torino game with ‘a completely free mind’

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan’s encounter with Torino is now just a couple of hours away and Arrigo Sacchi believes we could be on for a fantastic game between two good teams. The Rossoneri’s approach, though, will be decisive.

Stefano Pioli and his men will be looking to make it five consecutive wins in the league tonight, boosting their confidence further ahead of the decisive Salzburg clash. However, it will not be a walk in the park.

Speaking to Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by SempreMilan.it, Arrigo Sacchi stated that Milan will have to face the game with the right approach. Torino’s start to the season hasn’t been perfect, but last time out they showed something.

“Before Torino’s win against Udinese, I wouldn’t have expected much. Against the Friulians, though, I saw a team who personally thrilled me. In the first league games, it seemed to me that Torino lacked an identity and awareness of its own means, but after Udinese the opposite.

“Milan will be a complicated match for them, also because the Rossoneri come from an excellent away match in Zagreb. However, on Wednesday they will have a decisive match against Salzburg. It will depend a lot on Milan, if they can face the challenge with a completely free mind,” he stated.

Kick-off is scheduled for 20:45 CET and the line-ups will drop any minute now, with five changes expected from the Dinamo Zagreb win. As always, make sure to follow us on social media for the latest updates.
