AC Milan have had to sit through several delays for the new San Siro, which was supposed to be moving by the start of the summer.
There are no surprises that a new stadium for Milan and Inter is taking a while to finalise. After all, the plans for a new stadium, at least where the Rossoneri are concerned, have taken years to get to this point.

Things need to be wrapped up soon, but it may not be possible, considering there are several members of the City Council against the idea.

San Siro decision soon
A decision could arrive very shortly, though, perhaps as early as next week, with Mayor Beppe Sala stating that the latest delays could result in a final deadline, via Corriere della Sera, as relayed by MilanPress.
“The resolution must reach the council between this week and next, perhaps more easily next week. No later than that, otherwise we won’t be able to do it.
“I don’t want to be either optimistic or pessimistic; I want to do my duty, and doing our duty means bringing the matter to the City Council. It’s clear that we have this constraint tied to the Superintendency, but there’s time, if we want it, and politicians will decide.”
Time is running out, and both the Rossoneri and Nerazzurri need the decision to be a positive one, even if there are growing concerns. Too much time and money have already been invested.

San Donato.
Enough of this farce.
The San Siro project is dead.
100% and do it alone, no merdazzuri
Leaving behind San Donato was a mistake. More Italians doing their best to ensure serie a is and always will be a farmers league
Medieval brains running the city’s businesses in Milan. Old and outdated.
It’s because those brains are monuments that were preserved.
If I was Red Bird, I’d move Milan games to Monza’s stadium until these commie aparatchiks get out of the way and allow redevelopment to occur.
They have too much leverage. Take it from them.
Let’s see all of these twats talk about architecture when they’re not getting revenue from the games played.
Everyone always bemoans the American ownership. They should act like Americans.
Yeah because it’s going so well in America…
As long as Milan or Inter plan on building in Milan … IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!
Go to San Donato, etc….
