AC Milan are looking to bolster their attack ahead of next season and one of the players on their radar is Boulaye Dia. The Salernitana sensation is expected to move to a bigger club this summer and the Rossoneri are watching on.
Dia scored an impressive 16 goals for a struggling Salernitana side this past season, assisting an additional 6 goals as well. He played a few games as a right-winger but mainly played as the striker for the Arechi side.
As highlighted by our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Dia is destined to leave Salernitana this summer after the successful season and Milan are monitoring the situation. Up until July 20th, the €25m release clause in the 26-year-old’s contract is valid.
For now, however, Milan are focused on other targets for the right flank as well as the centre-forward position. But with just one non-EU slot left, the Rossoneri could come back to Dia if they were to sign Mehdi Taremi.
Tbh I’d get him as he’s a profile that would make sense for the type of striker we need as well as the fact it would lower villarreals demand for Chuku. could be a sort of double deal that could amount to about 50-55M which is quite a lot for us but it should be possible especially with sales

Taremi is a proven commodity, 80 goals and 49 assists in 147 games for Porto shows that. He also has good European football experience with Porto, so he’s a good option and exactly the type of Target man we need.
I honestly think Pioli needs to do more to bring out the best in our players.
I remember Origi bossed our defenders when we played against Liverpool in the UCL, now he’s like a toothless bulldog at Milan.
I also remember Teremi, L. Diaz and virtually every Porto player bossing us when we played in the UCL. That tie was my most embarrassing as every attack by Porto was ferocious and they tore us apart, they dealt with us severely than Liverpool and A. Madrid, and Teremi played really well.
I just hope he will not be toothless when he arrives.
My sentiment still abounds though, I will wait to see if Pioli is the right man to lead us forward.
