Report: Sampdoria in talks with Milan over defender and midfielder

Sampdoria are interested in signing two players from AC Milan and could soon accelerate their pursuit, a report claims.

According to a report from ClubDoria46, Sampdoria have had an agreement for weeks with Matteo Gabbia and also with the Rossoneri for weeks. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are convinced that Sampdoria are the right option for him to find the playing time he cannot get at Milan, but he would be a dry loan.

However, the report adds that Tiemouè Bakayoko is another target for Samp. The French midfielder is in his second year of a two-year loan from Chelsea and Stefano Pioli is not fully convinced by him, which is why Maldini and Massara are looking for another midfielder on the market.

Sampdoria asked for information, but the salary is an obstacle that must be overcome. The idea also appeals to the Rossoneri management who will first make a last attempt with Chelsea to try to cancel the loan.
