Nicola Sansone was the big hero for Bologna this evening as he scored the winner against Inter after coming off the bench. He was quite fortunate to say the least, but nevertheless aimed a message at Milan afterwards.
Inter failed to make the most of their game in hand this evening and it was thanks to goals from Marko Arnautovic and Nicola Sansone. The latter, as said, came off the bench and scored the winner in the second half.
He was very fortunate to find the back of the net, however, as Inter goalkeeper Ionut Radu made a huge mistake between the sticks. All Sansone had to do was slot it home and after the game, in an interview with Sky Italia (see video below), he sent a message to Milan.
“I sincerely hope that someone from Milan will call me, Maldini or someone else. At least for a thank you or a loan, so that I can play in the Champions League next year,” he stated.
It’s worth noting that Sansone has previously made it known that he supported Milan as a child and that’s also why he got the question in the first place. Nevertheless, a funny response from the winger.
E intanto #Sansone…
