This afternoon, AC Milan Primavera were hoping to close the gap to the play-offs. However, they were unable to beat Sassuolo to aid their chances.
The recent results for the Milan Primavera have certainly been a bit of a mixed bag. Last week’s draw with Atalanta was a frustrating one and there was hope that there could be an improvement this weekend, when facing Sassuolo.

It wasn’t to be, though. A goal from Domnitei opened the scoring, but the Neroverdi equalised less than 10 minutes later.
Match report
The game’s opening was a particularly boring one. Under the blazing sun, neither team were really willing to get forward with much oomph and there was only one effort on goal. However, the Rossoneri began to open up a little bit and they were rewarded for doing so.
10 minutes from half time, Domnitei bagged another goal for the season, combining with Scotti and Perera. A beautiful goal into the bottom corner.
Unfortunately, their lead did not last long. Three minutes from half-time, the hosts got their equaliser after some sluggish defending from the young Rossoneri side.
In terms of the second half, there was little to note. All the action came in the final 10 minutes of the first half, not one for the ages…
