CorSport: Sassuolo set their price as Berardi pushes for exit – Milan at the window

This summer could finally be the one that Domenico Berardi leaves Sassuolo, a report claims, and AC Milan are keen on landing him.

According to il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), the future of Berardi will hang in the balance as soon as the window reopens. He hoped to leave Sassuolo last summer to join a big club and compete for trophies at club level, and now he is ready again this summer.

However, the Neroverdi want to cash in and have set an asking price between €35-40m given that Berardi is on 14 goals for the season and continues to hit double digits in goals and assists.

In the past he has been in the sights of Juventus, Inter, Napoli, Roma and Fiorentina, but it seems like Milan could try when the summer mercato commences. Aurelio De Laurentiis of Napoli is also monitoring things and could launch a move too.
