GdS: Scamacca, Traore, Berardi and counterparts – Milan’s strategy ahead of Sassuolo meeting

AC Milan are looking to reinforce their attacking department and have cast their sights towards Sassuolo, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it) reports Milan will meet the Sassuolo management to talk about two players after Easter: Gianluca Scamacca and Hamed Junior Traorè.

The two players have convinced the entire club and there will be an attempt to sign both in the summer, but Domenico Berardi – who has been linked with Milan in recent months – is a player on whom the Rossoneri’s interest has faded.

The offers: For Scamacca, Milan are willing to discuss a deal at around €20-25m in cash plus the inclusion of various counterparts and it is a similar discussion for Traorè, who scored a brace against Atalanta in the last game and is valued at €20m by Paolo Maldini and co.

Parallel operations: The two operations will develop in parallel but will not be closely linked. However, what can’t be ruled out is that if Sassuolo decide to accept other offers for Scamacca, Milan could be willing to divert the counterparts to the Traore deal.

It will be a game of negotiations and strategy to try and please each party involved, but we will surely know more in the next week when Milan meet the Neroverdi after Easter.
